The idea of being the chosen one is often romanticized in media and society. We see it in movies, books, and even in real life - people who are chosen to fulfill some sort of prophecy or destiny - but let me tell you, it's not all it's cracked up to be.
First of all, it's a lot of pressure. Being the chosen one means that you have a heavy burden to bear. You feel like you have to be perfect all the time, because you're supposed to be the one to fix everything. You're constantly worried about making mistakes or letting people down. It can feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, and that's not something that everyone can handle.
Secondly, it's an isolating, lonely experience. You can't quite just be yourself, because you have a role to play. You can't let your guard down, or show any weakness. You're constantly on display, and it's exhausting. You can't really confide in anyone, because no one will believe you, or information must be kept hidden. You're always the one who has to make the tough decisions, and you have to do it alone. You have to be strong and brave, even when you're feeling anything but.
Finding out that you're a direct descendant of King David, Napoleon, Hitler, or whoever it may be, is a lot to take in, and it's overwhelming. Every day afterwards you will feel the need to live up to expectations.
Most of all, it means constantly being in danger. There are always those who want to take you down, who envy you or see you as a threat to their power and control. They will stop at nothing to eliminate you, and you can never truly trust anyone.
So, if you're thinking about calling yourself the chosen one, think again. It's not all it's cracked up to be.
It's okay to just be yourself and live your own life. You don't have to be the chosen one to make a difference in the world.
You don't want to be the chosen one.

wrote that somewhere recentlyeveryone wants to be one of the chosen ones, nobody wants to know the price paid in suffering
they don't want to hear that for some of us there was never a real choice
whether people look down on you or idolize you, it doesn't matter at the end of the day

Many are called, but few are chosen. Who can stand before God as an approved worker, unashamed, skillfully handling the word of truth? Who can claim to be a humble servant, abstaining from quarrels and refraining from raising their voice?
For the chosen ones, the work is effortless, and the burdens of the world are light. They remain steadfast under scrutiny and uplift those around them.
Their role is that of a comforter and an advocate for goodness, righteousness, and truth. Every moment, they ward off attacks from the enemy by their innate nature, performing their alms for no audience. What they teach they say openly, not in secret, and their decisions are made with unwavering conviction. Those with hearts of goodness are not weak but remarkably courageous!
They find their place in this world not through royal lineage, claims of worthiness, or self-promotion. They do not seek to fulfill others' expectations but instead set a new bar and standard for such ideals!
In the face of danger, surrounded by wolves, they stand unwavering. Therefore, do not proclaim yourself to be great or chosen or assume any lofty titles. If you truly embody what you claim, your actions will speak for themselves, evident to all.
